Raku Enviro-Candles
Raku Enviro-Candles are sold in sets of 3 as shown below. Each candle includes a stand (short,
medium and tall) and a wick pack
with instructions. All you need is the vegetable oil.
Each Raku Enviro-Candle is glazed and fired in an outdoor gas kiln
until it is glowing hot. We then gently place the still red hot candle
into a sealed container with leaves. The leaves violently ignite and
smoke which brings out the iridescent qualities that Raku is famous
for. Each piece is unique and can range in color from gold to copper
to red and blue. We fire many at a time and then choose groupings of 3
that are closely matched to form a set.
